Microchip Technology EV43F54A Development Tool

Microchip Technology EV43F54A Development Tool is fully assembled and tested to evaluate and demonstrate the ATA6847 motor driver's capabilities. The ATA6847T-5033H/NHX used with dsPIC33CK64MP205 provides the necessary drive signals to drive a 3-phase BLDC motor. This board is perfect for input voltages from 4.9V to 32.5V and the firmware pre-programmed on the microcontroller is optimized to work with AC300022 24V, 3-phase BLDC in sensorless field oriented control. The EV43F54A board features two programmable gain/offset current sense amplifiers, a spare user-programmable push button (µC/Wk), PWM signal LED indicators, and a fault signal LED indicator. The ATA6847 board provides 3.3V/5V/100mA LDOs, a 3.3V buck regulator, a USB serial connection, three current-sensing operational amplifiers, a Back EMF detector, and inputs for Hall-effect sensors.

The EV43F54A development tool is a two-layered, high-current board designed to be very versatile, low-cost, and easily configurable. This board uses the ATA6847 QFN40 as a 3-phase Brushless DC (BLDC) motor gate driver and the dsPIC33CK64MP205T digital signal microcontroller. The EV43F54A development tool is equipped with a Start/Stop button and a potentiometer that is used to adjust the speed of the motor.
