KEMET APL9x Rectangular Aluminum Polymer Capacitors

KEMET APL9x Rectangular Aluminum Polymer Capacitors are AEC-Q200 qualified and designed to fulfill 48V automotive applications and platforms that require compact designs. These capacitors offer high capacitance, robust vibration resistance, and high ripple current. With a temperature rating of +125°C, these rectangular capacitors provide excellent volumetric efficiency in a shape that facilitates stacking into modules. The rectangular shape allows for easy use with a heat sink from the large surface area of the aluminum case and along its thickness, giving a solution for applications requiring low profiles. These capacitors can be mounted in horizontal or vertical positions. KEMET APL9x Rectangular Aluminum Polymer Capacitors are used mainly in automotive fields, such as DC link on 48V inverters for mild hybrid electric vehicles (MHEVs) and as input capacitors for 48V data center power supplies.
