KEMET Electronics AE & AER Multilayer Resin Coated Piezo Actuators

KEMET AE and AER Multilayer Resin Coated Piezo Actuators are ceramic elements that convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. These actuators are built using a unique element structure design and piezoelectric ceramic materials with high-electrostrictive factors. The AE series offers a wide variety of shapes, while the AER series features ring-shaped actuators. Both series are smaller than conventional piezoelectric actuators yet can generate higher displacements and forces at low voltages. KEMET AE and AER Multilayer Resin Coated Piezo Actuators are compact, making them ideal for applications such as ultra-fine positioning mechanisms and drive sources. Other applications include pumps, vibration controls, sensors, motors, printers, and more.
