Texas Instruments LaunchPad Evaluation Kits are available for a broad range of TI microcontrollers, including MSP430, MSP432, Wireless MCUs, C2000, Tiva C and Hercules. These low-cost kits provide developers with everything they need to start designing new applications. The TI LaunchPad evaluation kits are a great introduction to TI microcontrollers, providing within minutes options like blinking LEDs, motor spinning, and sensing data. TI LaunchPads come in different pin outs and are available in a 20-pin or 40-pin form factor. BoosterPacks are modular plug-in boards that fit on top of the LaunchPad baseboards. These modules introduce new functionality to the LaunchPad evaluation kits including wireless, capacitive touch, LED lighting, and more.

LP-CC2652RB LaunchPad Development Kit

Texas Instruments LP-CC2652RB LaunchPad Development Kit is a full-featured development kit for evaluating, developing, and prototyping applications on the SimpleLink CC2652RB wireless MCU. The SimpleLink Starter app for iOS and Android supports the CC2652RB LaunchPad kit. This app connects your LaunchPad to a smartphone using BLE and supports reading the LaunchPad button states, controlling LEDs, and sending data strings to the UART back channel. It also supports cloud connectivity to the IBM Quickstart server or any cloud service via MQTT. This feature enables a cloud view where the user can control your LaunchPad from any web browser in minutes after setting it up. Development with the Texas Instruments CC2652RB LaunchPad is supported by the SimpleLink CC2652RB BLE SDK containing protocol stack and sample application. It also includes various free development tools such as Code Composer Studio™ (CCS) v7, SmartRF™ Studio, and Sensor Controller Studio.
