Analog Devices Inc. EVAL-ADM3095EEBZ certified IEC electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) RS-485 evaluation boards are designed to evaluate the ADM3095E RS-485 transceivers with Level 4 IEC EMC and full ±42V supply fault protection. The EVAL-ADM3095E boards also provide >±30kV human body model (HBM) ESD protection on RS-485 A and B bus pins to GND. Furthermore, the EVAL-ADM3095E can withstand high voltage faults up to ±42V AC/DC peak on the RS-485 A and B bus pins.The EVAL-ADM3095E evaluation boards from Analog Devices are designed for easy configuration through jumper connections. The jumper connections enable or disable the RS-485 driver and receiver. Two power supplies may be used to power the EVAL-ADM3095E. One power supply can be used for the VIO logic supply, and one VCC supply can be used for the RS-485 driver/receiver. When powering the board with one power supply, an on-board jumper connects the ADM3095E VIO and VCC pins. Test points are also included for all power and signal lines.
