Analog Devices Inc. ADN8831-EVALZ Evaluation Board

Analog Devices Inc. ADN8831-EVALZ Evaluation Board is configured to evaluate the operation of the ADN8831 Thermoelectric Cooler (TEC) Controller. The ADN8831 Thermoelectric Cooler (TEC) Controller is a monolithic TEC controller with two integrated, zero drift, rail-to-rail comparators, and a unique PWM driver. This highly integrated device controls the TEC in a laser module used in optical communications systems.

The ADI ADN8831-EVALZ Evaluation Board provides on-board, adjustable components with configurability of temperature setpoint, temperature setpoint range, TEC current and voltage limits, and a PID compensation network. The temperature setpoint range (factory default) circuit, optimized to work with 10kΩ negative temperature coefficient thermistors, can also work with other types of temperature sensors.
