Analog Devices Inc. AD5680 18-Bit nanoDAC®
Analog Devices Inc. AD5680 is a single, buffered voltage-out digital-to-analog converter (DAC) operating from a single 4.5V to 5.5V supply. A member of the nanoDAC family, this 18-bit monotonic DAC comes in an 8-lead SOT-23 package and guarantees 12-bit accuracy.
A power-on reset circuit ensures the DAC output powers up to 0V (AD5680-1) or to midscale (AD5680-2) and remains there until a valid write takes place. With a typical low-power consumption of 1.6mW at 5V, AD5680 is well-suited for battery-operated equipment.
Analog Devices AD5680's versatile 3-wire serial interface operates at clock rates up to 30MHz, and is compatible with standard SPI®, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, and DSP interface standards.
