Adafruit CRICKIT HAT for Raspberry Pi

Adafruit CRICKIT HAT for Raspberry Pi is a Python-oriented HAT (Hardware Attached on Top) add-on for robotics that includes servos, motor control, drive outputs, touch inputs, a NeoPixel driver, 3W amp, and solenoids. The Creative Robotics and Interactive Construction Kit HAT can be plugged into the Raspberry PI using the standard 2x20 GPIO connector. The CRICKIT HAT includes timers, Pulse Width Modulations (PWMs), and off-loaded sensors to the co-processor. The CRICKIT is powered by seesaw, I2C-to-bridge firmware and uses two I2C data pins to control inputs and outputs.

Features

  • CRICKIT HAT includes timers, PWM's, and sensors that are off-loaded to the co-processor
  • Control of the motors, sensors, NeoPixels, capacitive touch, etc. is all done in Python 3
  • Built-in USB-to-serial converter
  • Can be plugged into the Raspberry PI using the standard 2x20 GPIO connector
  • Powered by seesaw, I2C-to-bridge firmware and uses two I2C data pins to control inputs and outputs
